Cormorant Joy

20th April

Behind the cloth today: dancing in the sunshine, the cormorant stretches its wings, soaking it all in.
Equally, this brown barleycorn Harris Tweed® cloth dances with multi-coloured flecks.

Lewis Mackenzie – who provides many beautiful photos for the Harris Tweed Authority – added this note to his latest batch:

“This cormorant was a real character and I had some Peat and Diesel playing on the boat as I went past a redundant fish farm, which seemed to send him into a bit of a rave as he sunbathed on the farm superstructure.”
