The Harris Tweed® Journal

Gearrannan Blackhouse Village

7th November

The Gearrannan Blackhouse Village rolls toward the Atlantic Ocean and vice versa. From heather to stone to grass to sea, the active historical site on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis is bursting with colour year-round, much like the Harris Tweed® cloth.

The village hosts a fantastic museum and also has accommodation in some of the blackhouses. This Harris Tweed® fabric was handwoven for Harris Tweed Hebrides.
