Passing through Edinburgh in -7 temperatures, our CEO Lorna and Office Manager Kristina warmed up by visiting the wonderful Johnnie Walker Experience on Princes St. There they were able to sample the new Johnnie Walker x Harris Tweed Hebrides blend and try for size the collection of beautiful accompanying Harris Tweed® merchandise that has been developed with our colleagues at Harris Tweed Hebrides.
Stopping short of pretending she knew anything whatsoever about whisky, Lorna said, “The dram was delicious and warming and surprisingly sweet. It was wonderful to see and hear for myself the really impressive Harris Tweed brand awareness by all the staff we encountered at the Johnnie Walker visitor experience. They understood well the parallels between both our very old and established brands, our distinctive production processes, and that blending transcends both whisky making and Harris Tweed cloth manufacture.”
