Mill Samples

14th April

In a corner of a room at Seaforth Harris Tweed we discovered sample packs from some of the former mills on the island. The one in the foreground comes from SA Newalls with Smiths of Stornoway in the background. Although unsure of the date of these, they are well over twenty years old – judging by the phone, telex and fax numbers! Herringbones, Glen Checks and Houndstooth designs are all in the mix.
