Our Harris Tweed® Family: Saying Hello

25th April

We have an update and ‘virtual’ hello today from our Cathy – the lady who likes to keep us on our toes, and makes sure our offices in the Town Hall are always sparkling clean. Here’s what she’s been up to during lockdown:

“Working from home is not really working for me, not easy to hoover from home  so I am back on the needles! I do charity baby knitting for local hospital and bonnie baby charity which supplies blankets, hats etc. for angel babies and premature babies among others.

I am also trying to get garden ready for bedding plants. I’m hoping it will be as colourful as last year.

As well as missing my friends in Town Hall, I miss my church family. I’m thankful for social media, so that I can keep in contact via Facebook, WhatsApp and Jitsi Meet. I’m such a ‘techie’ (not)!

I hope it won’t be long until we can meet face to face again, we had taken so many things for granted before this pandemic made us sit up and realise how much we should appreciate all the blessings we have. I will have to go on a refresher course by the time I go back to work.

Hope all my friends are well and safe.

Love and blessings,

Cathy.”
