Behind the cloth, the weaver at work: Reg Amor for Shawbost Weavers.
Reg and his wife Catherine, also a weaver, moved here 11 years ago for a more self-sufficient lifestyle. Their Harris Tweed® adventure began when Reg took a weaving course in Harris. When a neighbour offered them a single-width Mark I Hattersley loom, Shawbost Weavers started, and so the beginning of a whole family adventure in the Harris Tweed® industry, from which they’ve never looked back.
