Shaped by Nature
6th May
Harris Tweed® can only be made here in the Outer Hebrides, and it is often inspired by the ancient landscapes that surround us.
Woven in earthy tones of peat, stone, and sand, this cloth reflects the rugged geology beneath our feet. The rock pictured beside it, Lewisian gneiss, is one of the oldest on Earth, formed up to 2.6 billion years ago. While it’s named after the Isle of Lewis, this remarkable stone is also found in parts of the Scottish mainland and the Inner Hebrides.
Just like Harris Tweed®, it tells a story of time, place, and resilience. Shaped by nature. Made to last.
