Weaver at Work: Nikki Crabtree

Harris Tweed® weaver, Nikki Crabtree, has been weaving for 7 years. Here she demostrates tying-in the new beam to the loom – a process that can take up to four hours. There are around 1400 threads to be tied in on a double width loom like this. Nikki not only weaves, but crafts from Harris Tweed® cloth.
